Testing waters on my 2000 Focus SE. It's green has around 113k-114k on it I'm still driving it so it's always going up. This car is great on gas perfect for commuting. Easy to drive, easy to park, cheap to insure. All around affordable transportation. Auto transmission.
Has some small quirks that never bothered me (I've had this car for about 3 years now)
power locks and trunk release button don't work I think it could just be a fuse, the paint is scratched up and there are a couple small spots of rust on the rocker panels but its only the surface and not a big deal. Just started could be stopped just sand it and paint it.
*the ac blows cold and the heat blows hot but it only blows on 3 and 4 the two highest settings.
One of the rear speakers is blown out. nbd.
Headlights were just restored at papa's dodge using a 80 dollar kit. Looks great and the high beams are super bright
2.0 liter 4 cylinder sohc, cloth interior, manual windows, cd player.. the essentials lol
Timing belt and waterpump done recently @ around 90k miles. Front brakes done at about 100K and rear drums done about 1k miles ago. The rear drums were squeaking, but ever since I had it serviced they only squick occasionally when it's cold or something. I can't figure out.
Replaced the intake with a short ram less than 1k miles ago, not for speed, for dat' gas mileage. It also made the engine bay look wayyyy less crowded.
Handles pretty good for an FF with stock suspension.
Tires have good tread. Rims have no curb rash.
So yeah, just testing waters for now. KBB for FAIR is about 3 grand and for good condition is about 3500.
Seeing if anyone would be interested in buying it for 2500 obo. No lowballers this is a good ass deal.
