    39,450 miles
7yr/100k powertrain and bumper to bumper manufacturers warranty
    All maintenance done
New $750 set of tires, less than 500 miles on them

This car is in great condition. It has a few dings here and there and a few scuffs on the rear bumper cover, but its all very minor and barely noticable. This car is 100% mechanically sound. This car has never been modified in any way. Kelly Blue Book value without factoring in the extended warranties is $17,500+

    Asking $16,999

    New price $14,999

You can PM me on this forum if you have any serious questions or if you are seriously interested in buying the car.

    On to the pictures:

I will also consider partial trades for stock, rust free, 88-89 CRX Si's or stock, rust free, 88-91 EF Si's. Don't offer me your swapped, slammed, altezza'd, or riced out whatever. Stock means stock, rust free means rust free, and those years and those models are the only years and models I will consider trading for.

    Thanks for looking.

why people go with the Kelly Blue Book value? is not that accurate and only $500 the initial value in said Kelly Blue Book. not knocking ur sale at all man i see them a tab less. ill offer up $13k, and thats all $100 bills.

I'd take his offer and run with it ^^^

Kbb is full of it. It has so many people over pricing cars.

I'd say $13k was about right a year ago when I bought it, but times change.

You are right, KBB isn't all that accurate. The truth is I should be asking for more. KBB isn't taking into account some of the things that are going on in the industry right now.

The value on these cars is going through the roof right now. Consumer Reports jsut gave the 2012 Civic an unprecedented "do not buy" rating so people are clammering to get their hands on low mileage 07-11 Civics. CR hasn't issued a "do not buy" rating since the old Land Rovers because of a rollover hazard. Not to mention the '12 Si is a dud with vtec only on the intake, only a 7k redline, and an integrated exhaust manifold cast into the head (no header for you!). Nobody wants new Civics right now, period.

Go look around at Si Sedans (not coupes, coupes are worth significatly less than sedans) on Autotrader and eBay. I am asking considerably less than others with similar cars. A used Si sedan with 20,000 miles is going for $25k on eBay right now, and the car only cost $22k new. Cars with my mileage, are selling for $20k.

edit: and if you'd like to actually offer $13k, please go to the link and place a bid on eBay. It was already up to $12.6k when I checked on it last night, so you might want to get your bid in soon.

It's crazy cuz Honda prices are going up. Years ago I could have a bought a eg for $500-800 in very good shape. Now it's more like $1500-3000 for rusted, mad miles, issues, etc. Shits crazy.almost everyone is paying top dollar for cars right now. I think 17k is a little high. But I do think it's worth between 12-14k

Considering what is going on in the market with these cars, you sold it very cheap then....unless you didn't just sell it. If you sold it last year, the year before, or the year before (when they were still making 8th gen Si's so there was plenty of new stock and little demand) then it makes perfect sense.

If anyone thinks the car is overpriced, that's fine. I wouldn't pay $17k for my car either. But people are paying these prices and the fact is that this is a very good price for this car in the current market. I'd be asking more if I wasn't in such a rush to sell it. Why would I give the car away for $13k and piss away $4k if I didn't have to? The answer is that I wouldn't. The car has been on eBay for less than 24 hours and its already at about $13k. Its going to sell, and its going to sell it for what people are willing to pay, and not a penny less.

This forum said I was crazy asking $4k for my 99 Lexus GS300, well, I threw that up on ebay and got the $4k 'buy it now' price within 12 hours. These people drove out from MD to get the car. They were so excited, they thanked me for "SELLING THE CHEAPEST GS300 IN THE US". You know, its actually quite possible that the memebers of this forum don't know what the real market value of cars might be, since the FS threads on this forum are clogged with riced out, rusted out, garbage with holes cut in the bumpers.

My point is that I'm not here to haggle the price with you guys.

                  The car is for sale.

                  The price is posted.

If you want to buy it, buy it.

If you don't want to buy it, don't buy it.

If you want to price bash, go ahead.

                  Good luck and happy bidding.

not bashing your sale bro, and i wasnt going to to bid bro, if u wanted the $13k you could of pm me that was my one offer only. your car wont sell untill it goes over your set price. plus when ebay and paypal get in for a good chunk at the final sale price well u know how that goes. if you sold ur gs300 for $4k well them are people that dont know how to shop cus i for sure would of sourced out a cheaper one in great condition. and according the the US sales report Analysts say that they are reducing estimates for U.S. automobile sales for 2011 and 2012.
and with how things are going on now in days good luck selling this thing. i mean dont get me wrong the car is worth it. all in all glws

First of all, paypal is only taking a percentage of the $250 deposit that I require within 48 hours of the auction's end (Thats like $5-$10, or something like that, I think they take 3%). The rest of the money comes to me in the form of a bank check from the buyer.

Second, eBay has a FLAT RATE for auctions on their site. If the car sells, they charge me $125. They do not take a percentage of the sale price.

Third, obviously the car won't sell unless it meets my RESERVE PRICE. I don't want it to sell unless it meets my reserve price. My reserve price is not $16,999, that is the "buy it now" price. The reserve price is considerably lower.

Fourth, your statement about the car market in the US, and the fact that sales will decrease is 100% accurate. However, you left out a very key piece of information. That is referring to NEW CAR SALES not used car sales. Furthermore, every make and model has a different climate in any given market.

So, I reiterate, it seems that some of the members of this forum know very little about the reality of what cars might be worth, and 'Knowledge' certainly has an ironic screen name considering he is talking out of his ass and lacks the critical knowledge to back it up.
