hey everyone, im not exactly trying hard to sell this car so consider this more of testing the waters. However i would love to move up to an even better car so im curious if anyone would want mine. Please tell your friends! so here it goes....again.
This is a 2001 Honda Prelude. I can confidently say this car is in near 100% mint condition. I have put years of blood sweat and dollars into making this car look how it sits now :)
the car needs nothing. currently the car has 118k miles on it, here is a brief look at the maintenance i have done recently:
78k miles- EGR Valve and Ports professionally cleaned
90k miles- Auto tranny replaced by Honda under the extended tranny warrenty. No problems since, i am confident this tranny will last up to 200k.
95k miles- NGK Blue spark plug wires installed
98k miles- Timing belt/water pump/tensioner/belts all replaced.
98k miles- Valve Adjustment done
98k miles- Brembo Drilled front rotors installed
110k miles- EBC Green brake pads installed front and rear
115k miles- NGK Laser Platinum Plugs installed
Oil Changed done every 2,000 miles valvoline max life synthetic blend 10w30.
The Goodies:
Engine:
AEM V2 Intake, DCS Header, Carbon fiber Spark plug cover, blue valve cover. Megan Racing strut tower bar. Optima yellow top battery painted blue.
Exhaust:
Custom 2.25 inch catback piping, Vibrant high flow resonator, vibrant flat black muffler. (chrome muffler also included)
Suspension:
Tein Basic complete coilover kit. Rear lower tie bar also included but not installed as of yet.
Wheels:
2006 Acura RSX Type S rims, good tires, the wheels are mint. "H" centercaps.
Brakes:
Brembo drilled rotors up front, EBC Greenstuff pads front and rear.
Sound:
Pioneer AVIC D3 DVD/Navi touch screen in dash head unit. 2 12 inch SPL Subwoofers inverted in a custom box, 1200 watt amp, 1 farad capacitor.
Exterior:
Vertical Door Hinges!!! These hinges work great, its a bolt on kit, Stock regular door hinges will also be included in the sale.
Rear trunk shaved; keyhole removed.
DEPO Black housing headlights, yellow bulbs.
Wings West polyurethane lip kit.
black tail light covers included but currently not on car.
clear front turn signals.
Hella Horns. Windows tinted 15%.
The bad:
Not much here, hood has dents on it and the rear lip has damage from exhaust heat it is repairable.
Car was repainted in may 2008. I did this to bring it back the that off the showroom floor look and boy did it work, i get compliments every day of my life with this car. Car took 2nd place at the k104 car show here in NY recently. trophy included with sale.
