02 vw passat for *cheap*

hi ct vtec i have an 2002 passat wagon auto its blue. it has a new motor(1.8t)with 154 miles on it and 140k on the body. it was my moms car and gave it to me and i dont have the time to fix it im trying to get 2900 it needs breaks battery and plastic pieces and a lil tlc pm if intrested

no it has on 154 miles not 154xxx brand spankin new she had it put in then she told me some light came on she pulled over had it towed to her mechanic and he said it was fine and ive started and drove it around the block just needs what i said n tlc

Needs TLC as in what? I see some rust, and a few minor peices missing. What needs to be done, what light came on? and why does it have a new motor in it?...if you couldnt tell im curious bout it lol
