b16 head is right under the itr head, basically the type r head is more advanced then the b16. the gsr head have a slightly small combustion chamber meaning it ups the compression a bit. the gsr head have it's on distinction and advantages from the b16/itr head. either head is good when sent to a machine shop to get a port and polish job, plus lighter valve train.
