Ok guys this is the deal, the motor is shot, (ringlands or a piston) i havent taken it apart. It has a massive amount of blowby.
I had a motor ready to go in, had it in my boys garage, and his father scrapped it.
Im STILL unemployed, and i already pulled $$ out my ass to get the new motor ready/regasketed, I cant afford to do it again especially not wit my 6month old son.
So I need some wheels, the GT is my only car!
All it needs to run again would be a motor, which can be had for Less than $250... it will be a drop in affair, and i'm down to even help swap it.
So pick up a motor from a 91-95 Escort GT or LX-E, 91-95 Mercury Tracer LTS, or a 90-94 Protege LX And you got ur self a hell of a sleeper, 200whp 220wtq,
Car is in great condition for its age, other than undercarriage rust. 193k on chassis, 94k on motor, 111k on tranny. Rear bumper has a crack in it, I have a rear bumper that will be included.
I'm asking $1700 obo for the car as it sits, so for roughly 2grand u got a sleeper
Or trade for a good running vehicle... Not really into civics, I'll do an accord, but i'll consider almost anything.
Dont take it as im giving up on it, I just need to consider whats best for me, my son, and my finances. Trust me once im working again I WILL be building another BP Turbo, It will be better, and it will be 300whp and possibly to go into an MX3 or 323, Im feeling like a new project.
I just need to be able to get out there and look for dat paper feel me
So let me know guys
