Boost controlller & wastegate ?

is a boost controller needed..im abouta get dis turbo up and runnin but im wondering if i jus put the desired PSI spring the wastegate it would open once i reach dat pressue right? any1 got ne ideas....i hava BC but i think that if i set my boost low for now it WONT HAVE ENUFF PRESURE TO OPEN MA WASTEGATE AND U KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEND FROM THERE LOL... SO HEEELP PLZ???:confused:

ya you can run off the wasgate its just thats wut you boost will be at 6-7-8-or 9 lbs or suttin ya kno no boost controller need as far as im concerned expecially just for low boost i never had one on my set up worked fine g/l man

Your car will only go as low as your wastegate spring pressure goes..so say u have a .5bar spring in there..even if u set ur boostcontroller to the lowest it will not go under .5bar and the wastegate will open, you can only go higher.
