yea im the saim allmotor i whanted to do boost but u thunk sopending the money on the kit is all naa...u gota make shure your block is built for terbo nomater what u could do a a smaal bolt up terbo on a stock ls motor but do u reall whant to waste the money u have nd blow it couse most likely tyhats what might happen if u dont rebuild the bothem end of the block new berrinf ceank,rod,shotpean the rods or go with upgrade i have a ls block thats set up for terbo at 9.1.0 cr if thats what u really whant to do the block has only about 500miles as well i haddd gotten it from my boy but i whant to go gsr all motor i have the head it all done all i got to do is change the valves to the flat ones n if i cant find a gsr block im tacke the rods n pistons out of my ls block nd put the new ones i just gotten ihave the pct ctr piston there high com pistons nd i will need to get some rodes as well also but its up to u on what u whant we cant tell u what to get we can tell u on what u will have to need for what motor build u wanna do if turbo cool theres tech up that will help u on what u will need to do n get or if u whant to do all motor thers tech up as well for that.. chooice is yours broo ..by all means have funn doing it lol...nd good luck motor buildenI<3my EJ8'CoUpE

if u want bang for your buck, boost the ls,,and thinking it would not be reliable is crazy, as long as u buy a decent kit and have it tuned,,and compression test your engine prior to the tune, to ensure the its health,, it would be fine,,personally i would go with the gsr and boost down the road. but another way to look at it ... stock for stock in the same car the ls turbo SHOULD win evry time against the gsr or type rtheres no replacment for boost:)
