Ok so i got a frankinstien single, y7 block with y8 head. i was thinkin of throwin a turbo kit on it. would i b able to just leave everythin stock n run it on like 5 pounds of boost or a lil more? to b honest i really dnt care about the single cuz im gettin a jdm b18c type r motor in the summer. wat im really askin is if i throw a turbo kit on a couple pounds or wat would b a good about tht would give me a decent amount of power tht motor wont blow? or any other ideas?

you should be fine stock with 6psi to be reliable with a good tune and the right parts i see it all the time -
your good up to 200hp... psi is irrelevant. its all about the tune. i would get thicker headgasket and arp headstuds.

yeah i knw a tune is a deff. i was seeing a turbo kit on ebay, which i knw it isnt a good idea, its made from a company named dna motorsports tht go for 520 plus sum change. idk if any of u heard of it? but i was told tht if i buy a turbo kit from ebay i should change the wastegate is tht correct?J.R.
