  • PLX m-300 wideband need help!!!

I have a plx m-300 with sensor and I am getting strange readings from it. The car is running rich all the time right now due to not being tuned, but on the wideband display it is reading 14.6 cruising and 14.2 solid in boost. anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what might be the cause? I have never used a wideband before so I have no clue. I thought maybe out of calibration, but it says no calibration needed.

The way to tell if it's out of calibration is when you first turn the car's ignition on the sensor should read lean around 17:1 and climb up to about 22:1. Also while driving if you let off the gas and coast it should read about 19-20:1.

When wideband sensors go bad they tend to hang in the stoich area all the time. This is my bet on what happened. It's what always happens. They just hang around 14.7.
