its not the amount of boost its the highest amount of horsepower you can have that would be safe cause there different size turbos

Well once he tunes it to 7psi, its tuned for 7psi. So there is your answer.

a stock block is only safe up to 14psi, then u risk sleeve crack, and get a tuner and tune the *************** before u even drive the car

i have seen alot out of stock b16 motors it is not really the hp goal that you need to decide it is how long you want it to last is the qustion. on a higher boost you have the need to beat on it more and the life of the motor will fall. a safe 12 psi tune will work great if the tuner knows what he is doing. last set up we did make almost 300 hp on a stock b16 and it lasted for a wile.

buy the right stuff tho geat a REAL wide band and keep in the car and watch it wile you areplaying with the car to know how safe you are. it might cost a little more but it is well spent

i have an AEM UGEO wideband right now and i am runing very rich, i am going to have my tuner lean it out, im running 10.0 at wot. my friend asked his tuner and he told him that 11.9 is perfect for my car, even alittle bit leaner would be ok but not by much. i recently blew my head gasket so the car is outta commision for alittle bit. bought a cometic...not the thicker one like i should have but i dont plan on beating on the car as much as i did before and turning the boost up like 3lbs cause im only on 5 right now cuz we are running off the wastegate, the car is very quick for only 5psi thanks to the peakboost kit i have. the turbo is a t3/t4 .60 so its obviously gonna push alil more power on a lower boost than a smaller trim turbo. i appriciate everyones input so far to this thread. anything else would be of great help. o and we are running the EC-Tune incase anybody was wondering with DSM 440cc injectors with a walbro 255lph pump

At one point in time you contacted me concerning tuning your car. It is ironic that you you are having issues. It does not have to be me, but have someone with experience do a hands on tune to your car so that you don't blow anything else.
