I got a 03 Nissan alitma 2.5 a couple months ago I changed the fuel pump cus I would up then the things is have to do for the day parkthe car it would be around half tank then in the morning I'd come out n.it would be on E n as I drove the needle would go up so I thought it was the fuel pump but jus a couple days ago I notice its still doing it . I'm thinking the fuel gauge its self is messed up but I'm not sure can someone tell me how to figure this out . Or willing to come to take a look at it for me.. me n mygirl share the car n I'm sick of her telling me bout this I need it fixed - 8608697802

A bad fuel sending unit can cause the gauge to act up

I did a quick Google search and it seems like alot of Nissans are affected by crappy fuel gauge issues. The newer models actually had a recall relating to that problem. I would search a Nissan forum since its probably a manufacturer specific issue.
