hey guys i hope someone can answer this for me as im stunted on what to do.. i bought an 01 honda civic that needed a motor. i swaped the motor out, put everything back etc etc... anyways, i started the car up after, it started right up and ran great. i let it idle for 5-10 minutes, shut it down thought everything was great, i go to start it today, and the alarm wont let me, once i connect the battery and put the key in the ignition the alarm starts sounding and wont stop for about 2 minutes then the minute i put the key in again and turn it forward it just goes off again doesnt turn over etc.. the car didnt come with a key fob, but i did try unlocking the door with the keys locking it unlocking it etc over and over and nothing will shut the alarm off and allow me to start the vehicle again.. any help would be greatly appreciated as i dont know what to do about it now... thanks alot in advance for any advice. the main thing that is stunting me is it started up fine the first time, and now this alarm problem is preventing it
