Thermostat change?

Wats up guys I'm a noob and about to change the thermostat on my 94 gsr motor, any tips I should know before changing it? I kind of new help on anything else I need to do besides changing the actual part any help is appreciTed thanks

All you need is a thermostat housing gasket thermostat an some coolant to replace what you lose when you take it out

And make sure u get all the air out the cooling system

Put the front of the car in the air turn ur heat on high nd pour the coolant in the radiator once is full let ot run for few sec with the cap off than close it nd ur done

U can it Wit the car in the air not just wait til the cooling fan turns on and wen your done that the coolant is topped off
