burned out and i replaced it for a new harness will it catch on fire

iight im suppose to buy a civic hatchback but what he told me was that his harness wires to the motor got burned so he told me all i got to do is put new ones but i wanna make sure its goin to come out str8 i neva had a problem like dat or seen sumtin like dat but it drives

I mean if your asking if by an engine harness burning up some wires..will it damage anything else..? well truthfully I dont think so, but if any of the sensors were damaged I would say that would be the least. but ou say the car runs and drives now..correct?..

If the answer is yes then I wouldnt really worry about it. Just get a harness and call it a day.

it runs put a new harness already but its smoking it smells sweat in the area where the harness is

sweat=coolant, maybe you have other problems then..how did the harness catchon fire anyway..Thats kinda rare in the honda world..

it was dat he had a screw driver in the car right next to the harness and motor and i guess the crew driver got so hot that the harness cought on fire becuz of the temp so hotttt damn it looked bad when they took out the old one but its still smoking after they just put a new one what happend was the nigga who put it doesn't know what he was doing and plugged shit wrong my boy got it working for me now
