  • B18 timing ?

    while driving my timing belt broke. Didn't here anything unusual, anyhow my question is HOW CAN I TELL IF THE B18 I HAVE IS AN INTERFERENCE OR NONE INTERFERENENCE MOTOR??

      Just put it on timing and rotate the crank with no spark plugs and if u feel resistance(more than normal) dont start it, if no the just call it a day and everything back... Gl man

        80% of the time you bend valves and ever so often you get lucky sense no matter what ur gunna need a belt so u can time everyything up throw a belt on and start it up...if u hear clanking and u car sounds like a subie then u have bent valves

          Honda/Acura motors are interference. The cams say "up" on them, so do a new belt with the timing aligned, and see if you fuked nethin up.
