installing b series head studs

so im picked up a vtec head and block for cheapp and i want to do a full rebuild before i put it in wondering how to install b series studs. the whole double threaded bolt and nut thing confuses the hell out of me a little insight would be great. oh its a b16 bottom end with gsr head if that makes any difference.
