  • bad dizzy?

    Car: 95 civic ex(d16z6)
Now yesterday the cars rpm gauge started bouncing around like crazy then it started misfiring pretty bad then I died out and didn't want to start any more. If I waited like 20 min it would start up then idle for abit then stall. But if I wait till the next day it will start up fine and run fine till it gets warm then the same shit happens. The dizzy has new cap rotor wires and plugs now before I just start throwing parts at it anyone have some insight? I've been told.to replace the coil and igniter but the don't sell ignited and the tachometer signal comes from that. But idk .... sick of dealing with it just want it fixed

sounds like what happened to my old coupe. I just did a full tune up, cap and rotor and this problem went away.

sounds like dizzy. First check the ground on the thermostat housing and make sure it's not lose. And make sure the main relay is clicking.

Would the main relay cause my check engine like to be dim? I noticed when it's dim it won't start but when fully lightened up it will start
                  Thus making.me think I have a big wiring issue and.my swap won't solve.that lol

not sure if the main relay will cause the light to dim. poossibly. If you have a spare one try it out. Sounds like you may have a bad ground.

U may want to try a different ecu(computer) on your car and see if that helps.
