Need help!

I got a 95 eg ex and the gas gauge on the cluster don't work. Now I've been doing some reading and they say the sending unit or the float is stuck. Now I'm going to replace the cluster with a dx one I got laying around to find out if its the cluster now I'd like some insight from people who have encounted this problem before on there eg and what u did to fix it

If u say its ur cluser than just swap it out with the dx one....

No I didn't say that just doing that to see if it is the cluster so I can either buy another ex one start looking for another problem

it's the cluster I've had one go bad on me out of nowhere
