  • D16y8 need help like now

203-887-4837 if you fuck with SOHC VTEC engines please call me I need help and have some questions I need answers ASAP.

I did a full tune up new head gasket, water pump,T-belt etc. The car runs but there is a knocking sound, it's not very loud but noticeable and now I'm tryna find out what it could be. I drove the car to work and everything no lost in power or anything I just need to figure out what is off.

Yea that was me lol. I still have that valve cover in my garage. I fixed the issue my crank was off a tooth. I re-timed it and the car runs fine. It's always something, I knew it wasn't going to that easy.

Your timing is most likely off. Check it with a timing gun. That's the only way for u to tell that it's 100% accurate. If your dizzy doesn't line up with the timing marks, then it's off a tooth or more. I can check/adjust your timing if needed. Pm me if anything

Edit:didn't noticed that u figured out the issue. I knew it was most likely timing.
