well i was readin bout powdercoating in a old hot rod and it says they hafta bake it .. so ur inserts would jus melt away most likely u could probebly press them out but i havn't really done shit like that so idk wut would b ur best method to doing it

lyno just scuff them down reallly good spray paint them thats wat i did for my mount brackets
