B series all the way. h has problems with ringlands and weak cylinder walls. build a bseries vtec turbo with 84 mm. bore. As long as you dont cheap out on the parts and machine shop work that will put you in the 10 second category consistantly. (@ 20-25 lbs of boost)But thats just my opinion

Sure h has problems but make it a h2b and race a b18c both stock motors and see. Sure in the long run the b might last longer but who the fuck builds a Honda for the reliability when it comes to Modding the car the way we do? No such thing as a reliable race car if you want relibailty I suggest that u leave the single can it. Adding horse power means adding problems too no matter what the motor is cuz your gonna beat on it

i love the h series motors out of the box they come with 200hp the type s comes with 220, the h series sleeze are FRM which is carbon alloy not cast iron like all other motors, what the material does is help with the temps of the engine since it is a because displacement. the h series block hold up to 8 psi before the sleeze start stressing. all motor to motor smashing on b series, ive read forums after forums on this motor, did alot of reseach, im building a g23/h2b rite now.spraying. next spring im going to build a boosted h/f series motor

I was looking at turbo because I got some parts already but might go all motor with a built head
