I need help i have a 99 ex civic 5speed with a b18b in it im using a ex wirring harness and a p2e-a12 computer which is a non vtec my problem is that it running a iacv code i looked up the wirring on the computer and harness and they are in the wrong spot i can put them in the rite spot but i guess ex runs 2 wires and non vtec computers run 3 wires is there suttin i can do bout the third wire plz help car runnin lik shit and im jus tryna pass emission and get the car runnin rite

Get an obd2b ls ecu

Had the same problem and was looking for my old thread but cant find it, u have to repin the plug so its 2 wires and not three, one of the wires needs to be cut, idk which one though

Not with a ex harness.

Oh ok, idk then lol, back in the day with my ls in the midori was a headache, no more obd1 motors in obd2 cars for me lol

If not mistaken you can't use the obd2b ls ecu cuz those have immobilizers,I looked into this with my Em1 and to get my car running right it was either find a 99dx ecu or get the jumper n run obd1 (witch I did cuz I didn't need to do emission) or a third option is the get the obd2b-obd2a jumper then run an obd2 ls ecu n the emission's should still work fine..either way you'll need to spend some money to get this done so gl...

run a 3 wires throttle body and your all set
