you can you just have to swtich out the gear on your speed sensor so it works accurately. Theres a little cotter pin hoding the gear shaft on. Slide the pin out, switch the pins to yours and there ya go!

ive used single cam speed sensors on b series motor without swaping the gear and never had a problem.
