  • Cross jumped....

My cousin cross jumped my moms 03 accord lx AT and now there's no power whatsoever. she told me when she went to start the car up she saw smoke and sparks and immediately removed the jumper cables and noticed my cousin put them on opposite.
I changed the battery (and tried jump starting that) it didn't work. The old batter was on its last leg and needed replacement but the new one didn't do anything.
I changed the battery fuse and still nothing
Could it be the ecu that got fried?
Any information would help thanks guys.

I checked all fuses might have to double check to be sure. It was on there for about 5 seconds after she saw sparks. Thanks btw

well you dont have to buy all new ones just pull them 1by1 and buy the ones you need but usually it will blow that main fuse and that will cut all power to the car

check your 80 amp battery fuse in your under hood fuse box.. its a nig black fuse with a clear top you will be able to see if the copper inside is touching or not
