I got a rhd car with a Nj title, whats gonna happen when I go try to register it at the dmv ?
Any advice that will help me prepare for it so everything can go smoothly.

if its a convertion dont tell em i had one it was a convertion and they dont have to know

Like alexPR asked, do you know if it went through DMV and CHP inspection?

But your car is converted so the VIN# comes up as LHD in the system so they really "don't have to know" lol

just make sure that u can pass emissions..pass emissions and then take it to register.im sure that should be it.so drive to your local emissions center and tell them that its not registered.they will mark it as "no plate" ,then u take the emissions paper to dmv and tell them that u already took the car to emissions and got it towed over there.thats it.pay your fees and walk out with plates and enjoy that rhd delsol

alexPR-It was converted, its the v6 del sol just not a v6 anymore.

dam thanks for the info makes me feel alot better about dumping so much fucking money into this del sol I was getting ready to find myself some dealer plates, cuz everyone was telling me I was shit outta luck no way i was gonna get it street legal.

Yea I need to swap a single in there for emissions no way my motor will pass emissions.

actually,your motor should pass emissions running a p28 ecu..just my guess..i ran a history report on that delsol and i believe it had 0 accidents reported.they will run your car since its obd1.
