1.5 Honda Powered Dune Buggy??

yeah basically as if you moved the seat in front of the engine as it sits in the car, so the linkage needs to pass under the engine then come up and make a 90 degree turn into the back of the tranny so it'd be in a "stock" position, then when shifting it would be just like normal H pattern.
i have a built sandrail here at my house, full VW set up with what they called a pancake vw bus motor in it, the problem with putting a 1.5 or something in is its liquid cooled, all those old VW motors were Air cooled which is why they use them for the dune buggy's, with liquid cooled you'll just have to put a radiator up top or something just watch for low branches and shit, if you want i can post up some pics of our buggy. and yeah all those older VW have shift linkages but since the motors were designed to be in the back the linkage goes right into the "front" of the motor.

haha yeah ours is made for climbing it will do like 70 degree vertical climbs and we've run it skimming across some smaller rivers i'll take some pics later and post em up ours isn't set up for sand so its got tractor tires and shit on it made for going through trails and woods and shit some hill climbingOriginally posted by lsj203Can I make payments???
