need help with coils.

do i need a compressor when trying to put coils?? i heard you can do it with out one. is this true and how? i always bout my cars with coils already on so i never had to do them myself.

You need compressors to take ur stock springs off not to put them back

You need a spring compressor to take your stock springs off the struts. Not to put the coilovers onto the struts though.

i dont think you can do it without a spring compressor , && just do it the right way , cause you will end up messin up the struct , & like JdmJunkie said , Autozone . .

thats wat i did. its not a big deal. just put a bucket or something infront of the strut so it catches all the nut n washers n shit so u dont lose em.

No the spring pushes off the tophat... And the washers the shock and spring stay under your foot
