Help!! exhaust size?

alright i have hytech rep headers.. its 2.5" or 3" at the flange..i was wondering would a 2 1/4 straight pipe fit or work on the headers flange? or would i have to get it the same size of the headers? need some good feedback plz no b.s i need to kno before i buy the exhaust thanks ctv..

Wen I bought my hytec rep header, the flange is 2.5. My 2.25 test pipe wouldn't fit so I had to get a 2.5 flange welded on

so if i buy the exhaust basically thats what ima have to do? they want 100bucks for the exhaust u think im better off paying 150 and getting a 3" piping?

It's less of a headache when all the piping have the same diameter. I say spring the extra cash
