wastegate without firering

i got a wastegate without a firering.... i was told that without the ring i wouldnt make boost.... however others tell me that its fine without it... i would love some feedback on this... thanx ctv

No valve seat no boost that's what it boils down too.. What type of wastegate do you have ? Maybe someone has one somewhere and g/l bro

I ran my car like that for about a week it will still boost but not to full potental still a fun ride and it sounds sick
