he doesnt have any of that. he has a full z6 swap, car isnt mine im doing a swap on a friends car.

just let him know that would be the best swap for it and its obd2 so the car would be runing like its suppose to nah mean? my boy had a mini me on his ek just mini me intake and exhaust no header straight dx tranny and flywheel and that thing was a lil monster its deff worth the investment the only bad thing on that motor is there oil punps they have problems from time to time

ok heres the thing...this is a pain in the ass swap becus of wiring but it is also very fixable....if u just want to run the motor no vtec for now then do exactly wut u said...use the manifold and wiring thats already in the car and keep running the stock ecu...if u want vtec then u have to use everything from the y8 not the z6....u need the obd2 intake mani cus of the sensors and plugs and it just will run smoother in that car....u need an obd2 vtec ecu... and most importantly and what will make or brake your project is the engine harness...easy and best thing to do would be to find a y8 engine harness cuz the z6 wont work and if not then you have to look up the ecu pinouts for obd2 and run wutever wires to the proper sensor directly.....i know this becus i just did this swap to my boys ek4dr...gl

no im not...i no that if it were me i could make it work but since he is treading on unchartered waters i decided to tell him the easiest most direct way and also this will make the car run smooth the first time!...but if u wanna break down how he can make shortcuts and take risk whenhe doesnt know exactly wut hes doin then be my guest..lol...i know that my boys car i runnin mint! exactly how an ek ex would run if it were an ex...!

U not knw much all u need to do is change the iacv plugs to the to the obd1 plugs and eliminate the crank sensors and u can use the obd1 intake manifold it's not hard ok and yes the Ek hatch running perfect no problems ask ej1 sleeper if u need some classes lmk I'm here to help
