You can do a transfer owner ship , gotta go threw a process though , Talk to dmv bout it , tell them you want to do a transfer ownership . .

you need a "lost title" paper it is call on the paper work there is a box to cheack call transfer of owner ship you and the buyer need to both fill it out at the same time with a notory and have it stamped then you have a paper as good as a title and it cost you 25$ for that paper and the reg fees from dmv...

if you use new briten the lady at the lunch cart is a notory and for 5$ and you both there to fill it out you are golden.

Let fight over it lol I find it funny me and my coworkers get a laugh about the the bs its cool wile they can't figure it out. I am sitting at dmv now doing a transfer of owner ship paper for a tahoe from my neighbor to my boss cuz his title never showed yet hummm odd ... Lol
