So I have read many debates on other forums about what to use for fluid in our manual transmissions. Some say motor oil. Others say Honda transmission fluid only. others say to use auto transmission fluid. The argument against using motor oil is that it does not contain the additives needed for the transmission. The argument against Honda fluid is usually the cost. Well why not use motorcycle oil? It is designed with additives for the motor and transmission because they share the oil. Just a thought I had and though some people here might have some insight.

I have motor oil in now. Not going to keep it that way. It was suggested by a friend who helped me do my clutch when we had t fill it back up. I'm new to Hondas so I just went with it. I have a.leak now from the axle seal so when I fix it I am going with Honda fluid. Just something I was thinking about.i made a pixelcar for my sig but i'm too lazy to pm a moderator.Comment
