need help with my fuel gauge

so i got an 95 integra gsr ,my fuel ight works fine but the gauge is acting up.it stays in empty sometime goes to full and stays there and the switch.ill like to know how can i fix the problem , dont wana go crazy buying stuff .
oh and i bought the car like thta .

change the fuel sensor.. its in the tank.. jus go an junk and buy the whole fuel pump assembly out the tank
