Question on my Cluster

Okay i bought a automatic cluster of somebody, didnt notice it was automatic till next morning, am not blind just he had the black tapped over the automatic symbols, so i hook it up to my car, and when i turn on my lights for the cluster and shit, dont want to turn on, everything else comes like signal lights, battery lights, e brake lights and the climate control lights comes on but not the cluster. the bulbs are good. And it has like a big white cover with another adapter. Can that be the reason y the cluster light aint coming on, and its not the fuses

I have the same problem but i have a manual cluster x2 on this thread

The big white cover is for cause its auto..make sure every bulb is good and well placed

oh you have a auto gauge too? or manual

It doesn't matter if its auto or not the lights would still work maybe the plastic wire thing on the back is ripped somewhere if I had the cluster in front of me I could fix it I did my girls cluster the lights wouldn't work either when I switched from dx to ex also I could tell u how I did mine but u guys don't kno how to listen to what ppl say

Okay u got me now when u take the clips out look in the spot where they clip in at on the back of the cluster nd make sure the plastic wire thing isn't folded in there it should wrap 90 degrees into the opening nd stay flat
...on my girls the problem was after it wraped 90 degrees into the clip opening it was folded in the hole not making a good connection check that first then check for rips
...also on ur dx gauges did all the lights work then if so then its not ur wiring leme kno if ne thing

My eg coupe is a EX, and i had a Ex manual cluster before i put this auto cluster in and yes the manual one did work. The reason i change mines manual one cus it had high miles on it and it was missing some bulbs, so i had money to spend and i choose to buy a cluster with low mileage. .

Lmfao do u kno how easy it is to change the speedo there r 3 screws on the back nd it comes right off do u still have it man I swear no one knows how to tinker with shit do u still have both clusters

i just put my old gauge back in, took the bulbs out the auto and put in the manual cluster. my cluster lights up now. and if anybody need a cheap auto gauge lmk, let it go for $15 bucks has 142 miles on it. .

No don't sell it yet man Damn u wanted lower miles lmao just take the front clear plastic off its 6 clips then unscrew the 3 screws in the back of the cluster reverse side if speedo nd it comes right out then do the same to the other nd there u go u got a cluster ill post pix on here how to take it apart Iight
