                teggy

For the P1607 make sure your battery and grounds are good. Electrical
noise in the system from a defective battery or bad grounds could cause the failure. If
P1607 persists with a good battery and good grounds it is a bad ECM.

                              1. check the battery with the car running with a voltage meter on direct current and see if its between 13.4-14.9 volts if not dizzy has a bad connector or is shot.
                              2. check the engine gounds.... mainly the ground on the thermostat housing make sure its tight.
                              3. does the rpm needle jump around when its running/ideling????????
