i put swap my ls into my ek coupe and now it red lines at 4k or 5k..... when i had it in my eg it ran perfect.... now when i put it on the jumper harness from obd2 to obd1 it red lines at 4k and when i just have the obd2 ecu it red lines at 5k..... i changed my injectors and my harness... anyone have any clues on wat it can be???

did you swap over the harness? like plugs and what not?

are u getting any codes with the obd2 ecu?

are you throwing a CEL?? it could be the wrong jumper harness.......

i used the obd2 ls ecu and it redlines at 5k... its throwin code 9 code 16 code 17

It could be u got the wrong jumper harness ..cuz for eks 96-98 they came obdb & in 99-00 obda (something like that) make sure thats correct

it was happeing wit my f22 vtec (accord) all i did was connect my vtec and poof my problem went away hope this could help u

^ yea ur right i saw some kid put a 99-00 si harness on a 97 ex cus they said it was the same thing and they where getting scraped by a single cam
