Help please voltage prblm

Ok i hve a new batterie thats 3 months old and alternator thats 6 months old, my car has always given me a prblm starting, once i tighted up the belt for the alternator, it was all good for months til yesterday my car seemed weak startin up, until obiously it didnt want to start, now the volt droped way under 8 volts,
So now that i jump it its good on 12 volts, so i kno the alternator is good, but once i turn off the car and turn it back on volts drop dead (but then wouldnt the battery charge after i let it run for a whole) wtf i know ive got 2 have a shortage somewere but it hasnt given me a problm this bad. Suggestions appreciated, to be honest i fell like gettin rid of this shit, i just got a realy good ass job and i need somethin reliable fml

sounds like your altenator is bad again from wat you wrote.....the battery voltage while the car is running should be at 14.0 to 14.6.....not 12 like you said check it again and hit me up 203 589 1772 if you need help.....good luck

well when your car is running it's only at 12volts? Because like he said thats not normal. It should be mid 14's. But the problem you explained sounds more like a bad battery.

Im go get the batterie checked out when i get of work, its strange because that shit is new, and idk why it runs on 12-13 volts regularly, on a blue it be on 14volts.

Na i dont wanna open da alternator, neways i rechraged the batterie and its good so i have no choice but to buy and find a completely uncut harness
