Starter Issues Help!!!

ok ive got an ef with b swap and when i turn the key nothing happens...i know the starter is good because when i turn the key and then use a wire to connect wire that clips on to the starter to the positive terminal on the battery it starts right up.. i checked if that clip was getting power with the key turned using a tester and nothing happened so what could it be???

trace the wire up further then test maybe it's cracked somewhere you should really start at the ign under dash at steering column the starter color is going to be Black/White ignition is Black/Yellow maybe that will help you. start there and work forward shouldn't take more then 20 minutes hopefully that will help you out

also make sure your carpet/floormat is not under the clutch pedal
