First things first, verify that your new Idle Air Control valve is working. With the engine running, remove the intake tube, and there is either one or two ports in the throttle body. One is for a Fast Idle Thermovalve (if equipped) and the other is for the IACV. Place your finger over one hole at a time and see if there is any changes.

    Report back!

Exactly. This is why you should verify your IACV is even doing anything by the above method. You should feel quite a suction on the hole in the TB if it is allowing air to bypass. By plugging the hole, the car should pretty much stall.

If it does not stall out, you may have a minor vacuum leak as well.

If yo removed the tb for whatever reason and changed the tb gasket make sure u got the right one and that you installed it the right way. Could be a possibility happen to me once

could be a number of diffrent thing first get a can of brake clean and see if u have a vaccum leak anywhere check all connections and wires if u have a map sensor that was removed make sure that the little rubber gasket under it is sitting flush in the cutout for it then take the intake tube off and do as the previous guy said also see wat happens when u apply a little pressure to the tps sensor
