how hard would it be to through a k motor in a honda accord for shits and giggles.. i have acces to a k20 i found mounts hasport i need a manual trans... any ideas or info on money being spent to make it posible..

ive never been apart of one but i heard its a bitch. u have access to hasport mounts in general? or mounts ment for your accord. its going to be harder to find the swap parts you need being the accord isnt a popular chasis. your going to need the charge harness thats made for an accord to k swap.. and why would you want to drop a k in such a heavy chasis any way? you would be better getting rid of that accord and scooping a civic or something
-edit: and its not going to be for shits and gigles you need alot more than the motor and tranny.. mounts, charge harness, fuel system ( braided lines, fpr, fuel rail) clutch, fly wheel, radiator, ecu (hondata, aem ems)Last edited by JDM_DC5; 05-07-2010, 03:23 PM.

just for show nice wire tuk, clean engine bay...im not tryin to run it... i see how these ek have clean engine bays i would like to see it in a accord.. for some reason i cant get rid of it...its clean dont get me wrong..but idk... i found axles for k swap and mounts..thats all so far..Comment

just really do your research being it must be rarely done i never have seen it done.. look out for hood clearnace issues, subframe clearance issues ect ectComment

i would rather just sell the k20 and throw i h22 in it personally i feel as though its easyer and your gonna make right arounf the same power.. nice wire tuck and shit and ur still good and as far as price goes your deff gonna be better of with a h22

The k24 has been done there's actually someone in cb7tuner.com that its doing the swap on a cb7 I think he got it running already I never heard of a k20 swapped accord.EM2Slow
