96 civic headlight issue HELP!!!!!

My buddys 96 ek coupe is having headlight issues. When he bought the coupe it had the hid's hard wired to the harness. He sold the hid's and now his headlights dont work. He got junkyard harnesses to replace them. What should we be looing for in order to get them working correctly. Please Help!!!!!!

google h4 wiring diagram and it should show up with what wire goes where.... then turn on the headlights with all the wires apart from each other cause if grounds touch positives youll have issues... then grab a working test light try iton a battery first to make sure it is goona. clip one end on BARE metal on the car to insure good ground and then touch to the wires find out which one lights up and mark it with tape. then switch onthe highbeams and do it again and mark that with tap....

ok the link works the wire marked as COMMON is aka for ground lol

if you got the plugs off a ek then just match the colors and your good. It's easy as fuck to do.

if its easy as fuck to do, than u do it lol, all the wiring in the car is fucked up, the car was owned by some mexicans that didnt know whut they were doing and the destroyed it to the point of where i dont even kno what anything is anymore
