need help how to make thread on my ls block

well here the story i got a acura some 1 before me try to change the head gasket n over torke the studs now the stud's wont srew in so new to make ne thread how can i make new tread with out having to but a bigger stud in there

bring the block to a shop

just buy a new block. it's easier n less bs.

bring the block to a machine shop or buy a bare ls block, if you need a bare block i got one with main caps

you need helicoils, you can get a set on autozone or advance auto.. you will basically tap the block to fit the Helicoil, and the helicoil will grab the stud.. google helicoil up so you can see the images and have an idea of how to use them

Heliocoils are actually stronger then oem threads so thats your best bet.

I would still be very sketch to do that i mean they do need to hold 80ftlbs which is alot.

well after hearing u guy ill try to use the helicoils first with is like 20 buck n less work then if it dont work then ill just have to change the block

buy the time sert its just like the helicoil but stronger and wont fail put some red locktite and u should be golden.....helicoil is a sping and the timesert is a solid sleeve....G/
