valve cover

So I changed my valve cover gasket, went to put valve cover back on and it wont fit back on, almost like the new gasket i got is to thick.. Tightened all the bolts down and you can see the gap inbetween the valve cover, and the bolts wont fully tighten in the front.. any idea's?

make sure you are not pinching any vacuum line, hoses or wires.

I think some mite be stripped in front.. They'll tighten down, go to far theyll pop and untighten..
