    long story... I have an 88 hatch with a 97 ls running off a pr4 the car was started but was running like sh!t it wasn't reving past 4k so we messed with the disributor and noticed it was loose and had a piece of medal in it so we took it apart and took it out the car started and shut off. then we messed with the tps and did the timing. the timing was off a little so now its timed and won't start its giving me a super headach I can't figure out y its not starting now. someone jus pm me or give me a call at 8609224143 I need some advice

    who did the dpfi to mpfi conversion for u?

      it ready was converted it had a 1.6 in it when I got it but they bunnied a 1.5 harness

        do you think it could be the disributor

          did u switch to low impeadence injectors im assuming the car has a resistor box if it does and u didnt switch the injectors it will do tht

            wow carl are you giving car advise??? anyway check the wiring from the conversion make sure everything is pinned right and that none of the injector wires are loose!

                  we had a 1.6 vtec already in there and it ran fine no problems the only thing i changed was the fuel rail do u think that would cause anything....the injectors worked fine in the 1.6 so im guessing they are still good but 2morro im going over everything again ill keep yall updated..

                    check the distributer also could be bad maybe a bad rotor or something! check wires and plugs i had a similar problem with my old b16

                      lol ha yes teebo ive moved up from having to call u ne rob to help me put a ls in a ek when i was like 16 lol but neways def check all the stupid routine maintnence bs

                        does the crank position sensor have to be hooked up if I'm running an obd1 pr4 ecu..my boy said the cps is for obd2 is he right???

                          the cps is only for an obd2 car running and obd2 ecu

                            alright thanks thats what i was hoping so that cant be a problem the only other sensors that arent hooked up are the o2 sensor and the sensor thats on the block above the tranny...its to the left of a single plug i dont kno what it is and what wires go to it?? i also have a red/white wire and a green/white wire that i dont kno where they go but those werent hooked up on my 1.6 and it ran fine any ideas??? my boy has an ls dizzy on warranty but i cant find one to give him and the one i got is my boys!!!ahhh
