vtec problems

my vtec pops then it sputters on and off really quick.. i checked the oil it had enough so it isnt that.... any1 have any ideas on what it culd be????

so thats wat might be wrong with my bros car is liking oil through the head a little bit tho and is also leaking from the vtec solenoid so idk...

Which engine and car do you have? Might be a vacuum line, the solenoid or fuel injectors might be clogged and stuff. My friend had the same problem but it was cause his cam caps were on backwords, but I doubt thats your problem.

i got a b16a in it..... its burning and leaking oil.. my vtec pops on and off realli quick..... im losing anti freeze but it isnt mixing in wit the oil..... i realli dont no wtf is wrong wit it....

argi you got blow by. is not your vtec your motor is about to go, plus your car is smocking. here is the deal from what i seen last night.

your car starts acting up around vtec range thos macking you thing is your vtec... but it also does it while standing still on a stock ecu (vtec won't pop while the car is park it needs to be rolling on stock ecu). we got to check your compression but i put money thats your problem.
