now that you know how to clay a motor, how would you use that to your advantage and to make more power??? I just want to see peoples answer

this is going to get interesting

u don't make power its the fact that u know on initial startup ur piston isn't goin to eat ur valves ... nd the reason u do it w/ vtec locked in cuz thats the farthest the valves go down

i guss u could make more power by adjusting the heaight to as close tolerances as possibly for more compression

nd the way to change the height would b w/ diff headgaskets shave head block or both

this is correct, except as far as making power the advantage when you clay is you can set your cams and make sure that you still have clearance at say 3 degrees advanced on the intake cam (just an example) so that even if your engine starts right up, you know how aggressive you can get when making adjustments on the dyno....just because you have clearance at stock timing doesnt mean if your tuner advances your cam too much you wont still bend valves..... you have to know the mechanical limits of the engine to safely tune it. what works on one setup may not work on an "identical" other setup because maybe the block you have was shaved and the "identical" one wasnt, you may not realize until its too late.

so should u clay w/ aftermarket cam gears as advanced as possible?

Valve relief is not measure with clay... dial indicator on the valve seat, your still have a chanse of valve to valve contact, so that is measure with the head off.
