Skunk2 throttle body

so i got my car tuned the other day and it went fine other than the fact that my throttle body keeps stickin i made sure the throttle cable was working fine and checked the throttle body and it feels like it catching a small lip only as soon as u start to open it it works but get stucks sumtimes and is really annoying i called the place i got it from and they said they dont warranty i guess just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and if they have any ideas about trying to get it to work right thanks

i have 1 in my h22 an it mite be to tight my problem was it was getn to much air cause there was a screw missn it ajust it but its all good now so check if the bolt on the side is not to tight good luck

which nut the one on the the cable pulley?? it feels like it moves smoothly if i push on the pulley while i turn it its really weird and gay and annoying and its pissin me off thinkin aboyut it lol

That is why I don't buy mail order. I would have walked in and smacked him with that p.o.s. next time buy locally. I had tuned a b20 vtec that had one from manhonda, the throttle plate itself fell off. This is all within 1000 miles. skunk 2 get a thumbs down for thier throttle body

i couldnt agree with u more but there ok i guess mine is fine i guess u have to be really good to understand them it took 3 differnt shops to fig it out an the only ones that got it rite was rpm nyc the cats r no joke they had my car runnen good in like 30min

I actually tuned his car. the throttle body was defective right out of the box. when you pay your money for a product you expect it to work without hassles. he can probably send it back to skunk2 if the vendor interact's. I don't know what have been done besides the fact that it is brand new and already comes with problems.

by the way most aftermarket throttle body's will require some adjustment to get it perfect. but this was a side to side clearance not a sticking closed issue.

ya dude i tryed everything throttle cable tryed movin the plate a lil bit but idk im prolly just gunna call skunk2 im sick of it stickin but the cars runnin great dave and fixed the return like no smoke no problem lol and valve adjustment runs mint but ill let u kno whut happens with tht throttle body
