My point was the carbon build up not really being affected....

I'm pretty sure it cleaned out your throttle body, IACV, etc....but not the carbon build up in the intake manifold..

I used it on my old 95 Saturn SL and my 93 Escort LX. Flooded the Saturn....cleaned up the fuel mileage problem on my Escort believe it or not...decent idle and everything lol..

But that stuff is not good on valve seals and other rubber....

using sea foam in the crankcase thins the oil and can damage a lot of internal parts from lack of lubrication.
running the sea foam through a vacuum line causing it to pass through the intake mani, valves, combustion chamber, and exhaust, can and usually does work well.

personally i will never use sea foam at all. i'll rebuild my engine before using seafoam. thats just me though.
i highly suggest NOT using seafoam in your oil/crankcase. using it in the intake i wont suggest, but i wont suggest against either
