distributor just trying to finish this

ok i been having soooooo much problems with this and i still cant get it.....i have a jdm b16 some1 on here had to go through this....wich usdm distributor should i use for the motor because the gsr distributor i just bought isnt working well.....i just wana no whats like the best model distributor i should go with

you need an obd0 b16 dizzy im 90% sure thats the only one you can use..I may have one.

i already tried it wont work cuz the ecu is obd1

jdm b16 in my 91 crx si......cars been running fine untill i had to change the distributor.....the ecu is an obd1 pr3

are u using a dist jumper harness?

so let me get this str8 your using a obd0 dist with an obd1 ecu?

no...im using the new 1 i bought wixch is an obd1 gsr distributor and it works but it is messed up....i have no rpm gauge and my engine is skipping.....i bought the distributor jumper harness and for some reason it wotn work so i wire it myself and it works but like i said no rpms and the motor skips....i been trying to get some1 down here to help me with the wiring to see if thats whats wrong but its like pulling teeth to get some1 to actually come by....so i fuigred well maybe the gsr distributor im using isnt the right 1?....idk

well when i did my muti-port/obd0-obd1 swap i didnt soder the wires at the ECu, i but connected them , and every now and then it was have a sh!tty contact and the car wouldnt rev over 4k..SO maybe try sodering sh!t..plus double check you didnt cross the TDC and the CPS wires..

What kind of car is it going into? I just had the same issue. My motor is obd0 but everything got converted to obd1 and i used an obd1 GSR dizzy! works fine for me! Make sure you have the firing order right and the TPS set. I thought my dizzy was bad but then found out my TPS is off! Car bogs after i get on it but if i cut the car off and back on really quick its fine!

yea that sounds like my problem if i floir it the engine like skips or bogs......its a 91 crx si with a jdm b16 and a obd1 ecu pr3

i never got to finish this so maybe some1 on here can help me its gorgeous out i just wana go for a ride im gonna throw pics up and hope maybe some1 noes what wires go where..i could of just wrote the colors out but this is better if you ask me
